The Senior Accountant will assist the AAR Parts Trading accounting team with the month-end close process, account reconciliations, audit requests, supporting business activities and ad hoc requests while adhering to GAAP requirements, SOX controls and internal policies.

What you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for daily accounting operations including journal entries, reporting, audit requests and month end close support.
• Responsible for Account Analysis/Reconciliations. 
• Prepare and report daily sales and inventory balances for Parts Trading.
• Prepare AAR FRPs. 
• Prepare foreign representative commissions payments. 
• Miscellaneous projects as assigned or directed. 
• All other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• 2 - 4 years of previous experience in a corporate accounting environment.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
