Boeing Global is searching for an Associate Strategy Specialist to be based out of Riyadh, KSA. Boeing Global is Part of the company’s corporate offices and is responsible for strengthening and leveraging the company’s global Presence. Boeing Global organization apprises Boeing leaders regularly on political, economic and industrial Developments around the world, and provides strategic counsel on the opportunities and challenges of unfolding events. The organization also works closely with Boeing Government Operations so that the company has an integrated view of domestic and global government issues and developments.
This role will support the Strategy and Government Relations manager for Boeing Saudi Arabia in developing and integrating Boeing enterprise country strategy, building stakeholder relationships, and coordinate local activities. The Strategy Specialist will also support President of Boeing Saudi Arabia and the business units in their sales and spaneting activities as well as provide local knowledge, expertise, resources, develop university relations and community engagements.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the Strategy and Government Relations manager for Boeing Saudi Arabia in the execution and integration of Boeing enterprise country strategy, local activities, growing the business and building healthy relationships with government entities, business partners and stakeholders
Support the Strategy and Government Relations manager for Boeing Saudi Arabia in developing and maintaining significant contacts in the government, i.e., offices of the ministries, royal families and senior, Military officials as well as current clients and prospective customers of The Boeing Company
Support developing effective university relations and community engagements in alignment with the country strategy
Support providing analyses and recommendations as requested
Attend meetings with the representatives of the government and the private sectors, or participate in any activities/functions as assigned by the Strategy and Government Relations manager
Support the day-to-day operations of the President of Boeing Saudi Arabia office as requested
Participate in meetings/conference calls of the Boeing Saudi Arabia Enterprise Country Strategy
Participate in the integration and coordination efforts with the Business Units
Support identifying spanet opportunities for Boeing in Saudi Arabia according to the country strategy
Support integrating a productive follow up scheme with various businesses and teams
Occasional domestic travel may be required to support business meetings.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher.
2 to 3 years of experience in strategy or consulting-related roles.
Ability to build relationships with government officials (military and civil) and private sectors, as well as with executives within Boeing, such as business units and business development groups
Demonstrate strong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills, both in Arabic and English language
Experiencing in working with diverse teams and people
Solid team work achievements
Self-motivated, energetic and creative
Computer literate, as well as basic finance skills
Excellent knowledge of Saudi administration

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Saudi law. Employment is subject to the candidates ability to satisfy all Saudi labor and immigration formalities.
