As a Cost Analysis Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering cost-effective, high-performance solutions that support life-saving and mission-critical operations worldwide.
About the RoleThis position provides cost estimating and product cost management support throughout the full product lifecycle — from concept and development through production and sustainment. Your analyses will guide smarter decision-making across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare parametric, analogous, and detailed cost estimates for aircraft systems
Support design trade studies and cost reduction strategies
Conduct "Should Cost" analyses to evaluate supplier pricing and performance
Identify cost-out opportunities in manufacturing processes
Develop cost targets and performance metrics for product teams
Deliver independent cost estimates (ICE) for proposal evaluations
Standardize cost engineering best practices across programs
What We’re Looking ForRequired:
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Accounting, or Economics
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent analytical, written, and presentation skills
Preferred:
2+ years of estimating experience
Aerospace and defense background
Familiarity with cost estimating tools (TruePlanning, aPriori, SEER)
Experience with U.S. government contracts or programs

Pay Details: $65.00 to $85.00 per hour
