What Youll Do
As an NC Engineer, youll work closely with engineering, tooling, planning, and production teams to develop and optimize machining programs that support the manufacture of critical aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze engineering drawings, tooling designs, and electronic models to determine optimal machining methods, machine selection, and material requirements.
Collaborate with planners, tool designers, engineers, and customers to finalize manufacturing plans and processes.
Develop cutter motion logic and create efficient machining programs, selecting appropriate spindle speeds and feed rates.
Verify and validate NC programs using Vericut simulation software to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Create detailed setup sheets and instructions for machine operators.
Produce 2D tooling drawings using CATIA as required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional engineering-related duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong mathematical, geometry, and drafting skills.
Good verbal and written communication abilities.
Familiarity with machining methods, technical documentation, and computer applications.
Basic knowledge of CATIA.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to NC programming concepts through coursework, internships, or project experience.
Familiarity with CNC milling machines and lathes.
Experience with manufacturing software, simulation tools, or CAD/CAM environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for precision manufacturing.

Pay Details: $33.54 per hour
