Position Summary

Ensure that the operation obtains a process-based approach by applying continuous improvement, implementing, and coordinating projects that ensure an efficient operation and complying with the companys indicators, satisfying the requirements of our internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop standard work systems.
• Balance manufacturing lines based on time and movement recording studies.
• Execute continuous improvement activities in multifunctional teams.
• Guarantee the use of continuous improvement tools for the implementation of projects.
• Develop and implement new products and processes.
• Document manufacturing processes according to our document control system.
• Ensure the training of new manufacturing processes for operational personnel.
• Work with Sr. Engineer on the coordination of production lines or machinery.
• Investigate and plan investment projects for new technologies.
• Execute manufacturing samples for external clients.
• Ensure compliance with the specifications of our clients.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external clients.
• Review order backlog to ensure that production method is in placed (tools, CT, fixtures routing steps, etc)  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in process engineering or manufacturing related role

• English level: Intermediate English.

   

Technical Skills 

• Lean (Basic - Intermediate).
• Balancing Lines (Basic - Intermediate).
• Basic knowledge of Minitab.
• Management of Design Tools could be Solid Work or Inventor (Basic – Intermediate)
• Geometric Tolerances & interpretation of drawings (Basic – Intermediate)
• Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, or AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of tools for problem solving.
• Desirable Experience in Equipment / Product Transfers.
