Job Title: Aero TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking an Aero Technician to join our team within our world-class facility in Montreal. The successful candidate will work on comprehensive engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul, as well as customized engine builds for military and commercial operators. This role involves engine and module assembly/disassembly, turbine engine inspection and certification, and balancing of rotors and modules. You will also have the opportunity to suggest improvements and work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
- Build and strip engines, suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Assemble and disassemble CFM56 engines and modules.
- Inspect and certify turbine engines.
- Balance rotors and modules, either single plane or dynamically.
- Transport parts, components, modules, and/or engines between workstations.
- Clean parts, provided you have the necessary competency.
- Possibility of shift work and shift changes.
Essential Skills- Mechanical skills and mechanical assembly experience.
- Engine repair and assembly knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical manuals.
- Diploma in aircraft maintenance or mechanic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with electrical harness repair.
- Ability to read and understand instructions for the build of CFM56 engines.
