Aircraft MechanicJob DescriptionJoin our MRO team as an Aircraft Mechanic, where you will be involved in performing A and B checks, conducting inspections, and assembling and disassembling various aircraft parts. You will also be responsible for dropping and reinstalling engines, drawing from the expertise of experienced colleagues, and contributing to project teams based on your past experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform A and B checks on aircraft.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft parts.
- Drop and reinstall engines as needed.
- Collaborate with experienced team members and contribute to project teams.
- Read and interpret aircraft plans and manufacturing instructions.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
- Valid Aircraft Mechanic License - M2.
- ACA certification on Dash 8, Q400, or CL aircraft.

Work Environment
Located at the Longview facility in Calgary, the work environment involves a facility with about 100 people and growing. Project teams range from 4-8 members. The shift schedule is Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of 12-hour days. The shift pattern is not yet solidified, but may be 3 weeks in, 1 week out.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract position based in Calgary. Relocation package for anyone outside of province: Hotel + flight included, $75 per diem/7 days, group car rental.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
