We are seeking a skilled Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, performing functional qualification testing, and harness routing between kit assemblies. You will play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations.

• Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issue hardware.
• Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
• Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies.
• Proficiently use various mechanical tools.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics or drawings.
• Work closely with engineers and leadership to develop and implement operational improvements focused on driving task times down and ease of repeatability.
• Rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.
• Play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations.

• Experience in a startup development environment.
• Experience working in a flight development program.
• A&P license preferred, but not required.
• Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from first article to production.

• Modify, repair, assemble, drill, and install aircraft components.
• Drill, ream, and countersink full-size holes in parts and assemblies.
• Select drill bits, reamers, and/or countersinking tools for pilot and full-size holes.
• Align parts and secure them in place using tooling/hand fasteners.
• CAD/CAM experience preferred.
• Basic shop knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Previous systems development experience.
• GSE build and operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to take measurements using precision tools.
• Previous experience with integration and assembly of large structural assemblies.
• Experience and knowledge base of simple harnessing and connectorizing.
• Ability to design and fabricate tooling necessary for safe/complete operations.
• Experience supervising large lifts and rigging.
• Previous experience with component-level builds and tests.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in-situ and redline changes for engineering.
• Willingness to travel for test operations.

The work environment is partially climate-controlled, which can be hot in the summer but is equipped with large fans for comfort. Tools are provided, and the atmosphere is very collaborative, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $39.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Atlanta,GA.
