Job Description

Join a dynamic team at the Richmond location, newly opened in 2020. We are seeking experienced Airframe mechanics to performe contract work on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircraft. You will engage in heavy maintenance, including C and D checks, and hangar maintenance, supporting 2-3 aircrafts on cycle. The role involves performing repetitive reliability checks, gear changes, and heavy maintenance, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircraft, focusing on heavy maintenance tasks such as C and D checks.
• Conduct hangar maintenance supporting 2-3 aircrafts on cycle.
• Carry out repetitive reliability checks and gear changes.
• Repair sheet and extruded metal structural parts according to design specifications.
• Read design specifications or examine sample parts to determine fabrication procedures.

• Possession of an A license.
• Ability to provide basic hand tools.
• Valid drivers license.
• Eligibility to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
• 1+ years of aircraft maintenance or line maintenance experience.

• Preferred experience on CRJ 200, 700, 900, or other regional jets.

This role offers a short-term contract with potential for longer-term or direct opportunities. The position provides flexibility in experience requirements, making it an ideal opportunity for mechanics looking to gain further experience in aircraft maintenance.

Work Environment

The role is based at Richmond International Airport within a team of 12 mechanics plus management and supervisors. The shift pattern is from 9 PM to 9 AM, working 3 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 days on, 3 days off, with work required every other Saturday. This flexible schedule provides a balanced work-life environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a CONTRACT position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
