Job Title: CFM Engine Inspector (Must have powerplant license)Job Description
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of incoming and outgoing engine parts. Your role involves adhering to the published Workscope and identifying visual non-conformances during Receiving Inspection of engines.
Responsibilities
- Perform Receiving Inspection of incoming engines, documenting discrepancies and generating necessary reports to initiate repairs.
- Conduct Incoming & Outgoing Inventory Inspection of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
- Perform EMU and/or piece part inspection of disassembled engines, documenting non-conformances and recording status on QC 227C.
- Route parts to Outside Vendors and document identification data and work required in Quantum.
- Oversee maintenance actions in progress, ensuring accurate documentation on maintenance forms.
Essential Skills- Minimum of 2.5 years inspecting CF6 engines in a backshop environment.
- Powerplant license is required.
- Experience with repair and overhaul of turbine and aircraft engines.
- Ability to navigate OEM Manuals and read and understand technical data.
- Proficiency in using the Quantum Operating System.

Work Environment
This role offers flexibility in shifts with a $3/hr differential for the 2nd shift. You can choose between the 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm) or the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm). Work will be performed at the new facility located at NW 39th St, Coral Springs, FL.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Pay
31 to 38 an hour. 3 dollar differential for 2nd shift. Will increase pay for powerplant and airframe license.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
