About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Aircraft Electrical Technician to join our high-performing team in Columbus, Mississippi. In this pivotal role, you’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge rotorcraft, specializing in the fabrication, installation, and repair of complex electrical and electronic systems on military and commercial helicopters.
This is a contract position with flexible duration, ideal for seasoned technicians looking to leave their span on some of the most advanced aircraft in the world.
What You’ll Do
As a key player in our avionics team, you will:
Assemble, install, and repair electrical/electronic components in helicopters
Perform functional checks and ensure full FAA compliance
Use technical blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to guide your work
Collaborate across departments to meet production schedules and safety standards
Maintain detailed documentation for every task and completed job
Operate a variety of tools and testing equipment in a high-precision environment
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Minimum of six (6) years of avionics experience—preferably in rotorcraft
Strong skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics
Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve wiring issues
Proficiency in aviation tooling and standard shop practices
Must speak, read, and write English
Must meet physical requirements related to lifting, movement, and PPE use

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
