About the Role:
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic Senior to join our team supporting helicopter operations in Grand Prairie, TX. This senior-level position involves precision sheet metal work, structural installations, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Layout, cut, and form sheet metal parts for aircraft structures.
- Prepare patterns/templates and optimize material usage.
- Install sheet metal assemblies ensuring structural integrity and system functionality.
- Perform structural checks, diagnose malfunctions, and execute corrective actions.
- Work from blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering dispositions.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for fabrication and installation.
- Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards.
- Complete documentation, discrepancy sheets, and toolbox audits accurately.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. person under ITAR requirements.
- Minimum 6 years of related experience in aircraft sheet metal work.
Preferred:
- Current A&P License.
- Trade school experience.
