3-5 Technical/Software Skills:
Install various parts and assemblies such as landing gear, aircraft control surfaces, exterior panels, carpets, blankets, roller trays/ball mats, stowbins, sidewalls, ceiling panels, lavatories, galleys, doors, and seats.
Install various aircraft system components such as tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, and ducts.
Use various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers.
Requirements/Years of Experience/Etc.:
6 months-5years experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
6 months-5years experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
6 months-5years experience in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and/or pneumatic (air) tools.
6 months-5years experience with structural parts fabrication, assembly processes and procedures.
Physical demands (if any):
Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).
Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.
Education/Experience:
Typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
