Role IntroductionWe’re looking for a driven and strategic Account Manager to join our high-performing sales team at Cathay Pacific. This role is ideal for someone passionate about aviation, customer success, and driving commercial growth through data-led decision making.
As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Corporate and Trade partners. You’ll be responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets through proactive sales activities, effective account management, and innovative business development. You’ll also play a key role in expanding our footprint in new spanets and nurturing valuable partnerships.
Due to the nature of the role, fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin is required.
Key Responsibilities- Acquire and grow high-value Corporate and Trade accounts using insights-driven strategies
- Drive new business development across all relevant sales channels
- Build strong commercial partnerships that deliver long-term value
- Negotiate agreements aligned with commercial objectives and cost-of-sale targets
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and engagement activities to maintain strong brand presence
- Analyse account performance to identify revenue opportunities
- Monitor and manage incentive schemes to optimise sales outcomes
- Represent Cathay at industry events and professional networking opportunities
Requirements- Minimum of 3 years of recent Sales experience (aviation or travel industry preferred)
- Proficiency in Mandarin/ Cantonese is a mandatory requirement
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated negotiation expertise and commercial acumen
- Advanced computer literacy, especially with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, PRISM, DDS, MIDT – a plus
- A high level of adaptability and a proactive approach to change
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to make effective decisions during airport operations such as disruptions.
