Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Multi-Family Manager to support the Air Dominance Mid-Major Contracting Supply Chain team in Hazelwood, MO!
Position Responsibilities:
Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and having the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements
Manages employees and First Line Managers from multiple teams performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools
Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
More than 3 years of experience leading a team or program
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
More than 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
