Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team and assist in painting aircraft parts. This role involves preparing surfaces for painting, ensuring quality and precision in all aspects of the painting process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, filling, and washing.
• Perform taping of surfaces and areas where paint will not be applied.

Essential Skills

• Experience in paint preparation, aircraft assembly, and parts painting.
• Proficiency in sanding, painting, and taping.
• Experience in industrial painting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months of related experience in surface preparation for paint or painting of industrial, automotive, or aviation products.
• Ability to follow directives given in surface preparation and layout taping.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, MS.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $26.00/hr.
